It’s awesome how it’s not just a stripped down version of the original punk anthem. It’s interpreted as a Pete Seeger-esque folk ballad, crying out for sense, reason and change. Love this alternative take.

I love Bad Religion and appreciate this song soooooo much. But at the same time it's a very pessimistic view. Some one once told me a story in my darkest time. His daughter had a horrible infection. And he had to hold her arms down so the doctors could inject her with emergency medicine. He said she looked at him with pain ad a face that said why are you hurting me. And it killed him that she couldn't understand why he was hurting her. To save her life. That's what I see from the story of Job.
